The present application has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for placing on record the photos of the protest laid down by private respondents in front of the house of the petitioner as Annexure P-6. 2.

Application is allowed as prayed for.

Annexure P-6 is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. CRWP-3302-2024 1.

The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ order or direction to the officials respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had got the visa from respondent No. 5 for his visit to Norway, for which the payments were made to one Mahender who completed the visa process and got the ticket booked. However, when the victim reached the airport, it was on account of certain discrepancies in the visa/tickets so booked that he was PARUL 2024.04.25 16:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document not permitted to Board the flight and had to return back.

Subsequent thereto, respondents No. 5 to 8 along with certain other persons have sat on the dharna outside the house of the petitioner for which the petitioner relies upon Annexure P-6 appended with the application.

Learned State counsel submits that he is not aware as to whether any FIR has been lodged, however, submits that a complaint has been received against the petitioner which is being looked into by the competent authority.

The present petition cannot be taken as estoppel against law, however, in light of the above, coupled with the fact that the State is duty bound to protect the life and liberty of all its citizens, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 3 and 4 to look into the representation only with the aspect of the protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioner, in case, he is found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.

In case, the allegations levelled in the complaint disclose a cognizable offence against the petitioner, the order passed in this petition shall ipso facto to operate.
