Before issuing notice of motion, this court had deemed it fit to seek assistance of State counsel in this case. Today Mr. Shilesh Gupta, Addl. A.G. Punjab, on instructions from ASI Attar Singh, who is present in court, submits that final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. is likely to be submitted before the competent court shortly wherein statement made by respondent no. 4 would be taken into consideration.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn.
