The present petition under Section 528 BNSS (Section 482 Cr.P.C.) has been filed seeking directions for registration of FIR and fair investigation on the basis of representation dated 25.02.2026 (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has already filed representation dated 25.02.2026 (Annexure P-1) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sahil Chowdhary, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

CRM-M No.15566 of 2026 -2the submission made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, to decide the representation dated 25.02.2026 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner, qua threat perception in accordance with law within a period of one month from today and grant immediate protection, if any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, is perceived.

It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner for legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by him.
