Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the respondentauthority has released the amount on account of gratuity, leave encashment and GIS and has also released the amount on account of pension. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that still the amount on account of commutation of pension has not been released and the interest has also not been paid.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has submitted that the amount on the said two accounts would also be paid till 31.05.2026 after giving the benefit of interest up to 31.05.2026. It is further submitted that in case the said amount is not paid by the said date, then the respondent would also pay an amount of 15,000/- as litigation expenses to the petitioner. ₹ 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the present petition be disposed of but the respondent be bound by the statement made before this Court.

Keeping in view the abovesaid facts and circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with the following observations/directions: (i) As undertaken before this Court, the respondent-authority would pay the amount on account of commutation of pension as well as interest after calculating the interest up to the date of payment and the said amount would be paid on or before 31.05.2026.
(ii) In case the said amount is not paid on or before 31.05.2026 and the petitioner has to file an application for revival of the present petition, then the respondent would be liable to pay an amount of 15,000/- as litigation expenses to the petitioner over and ₹ above the amount which is due to the petitioner.
