This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.13 dated 12.03.2020 under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 and Section 24 of the Emigration Act, 1983, registered at Police Station Mukandpur, District SBS Nagar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that as directed vide order dated 30.06.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Mr. Mehardeep Singh, AAG, Punjab, has joined the session through video conferencing and on instructions from ASI Subhash Chand, has stated that the statement of the petitioner has been recorded on 04.07.2020 and he is no longer required for further investigation as of now. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and order dated 30.06.2020 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when required and he shall also abide by all the terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
