Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 20.03.2025 (P-2) and restraining the respondents from transferring the petitioner as she is due to retire on 30.11.2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the State, while producing a copy of the order dated 20.11.2025, submits that the petitioner has retired on attaining the age of superannuation, following the interim order passed by this Court on 24.03.2025 staying her transfer. She further submits that the present petition has become infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would point out at this stage that few of the retiral benefits of the petitioner have been withheld by the respondents.

If that is the case of withholding the retiral benefits of the petitioner, respondents No.2 and 3 are directed to look into the issue and SONIA BURA 2026.03.06 10:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
