Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 22.9.2015. Certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been issued by Gurudwara Guru Nanak Niwas Sahib, Village Karor Kalan, Tehsil Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali). Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation (Annexure P-5) to Commissioner of Police, Ludhianarespondent No. 2 but no action has been taken so far.
