The matter has been taken up through video conferencing in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 9.

In consonance with the order dated 26.05.2021 passed by this Court, compliance report in the form of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Gurdaspur, has been sent through e-mail, hardcopy, whereof has been taken on record. CRWP No.4804 of 2021 -2and liberty at the hands of private respondents and they do not want any security.
