Petitioners are seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of their life and liberty as private respondents have been extending threats of dire consequences to tthem as they have solemnized marriage against their wishes.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Usha Rani has apprised the Court that as per School Admission Certificate of petitioner No.1, her date of birth is 06.01.2006 and in view of the same, she was a minor on the date when she went missing with petitioner No.2. This Court has further been apprised by the State counsel that a FIR bearing No.92 dated 10.04.2023 under Section 363 IPC at P.S.Bhattu Kala, District Fatehabad stands registered against petitioner No.2.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court would loathe to issue directions as prayed for since petitioner No.2 is an accused in a criminal SONIA BURA 2023.04.26 15:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
