The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS (old Section 482 Cr.P.C) for issuance of necessary directions to the respondent authorities to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in the case GD No.28, dated 19.02.2026, registered under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 351(2), 190, 191(2) BNS (old Sections 323, 324, 149, 147, 503 IPC) at Police Station Raikot in cross case FIR No.31, dated 19.02.2026, registered under Sections 115(2), 133, 296, 351 (2), 190 of BNS (old Sections 323, 355, 294 506, 149 IPC) at Police Station Sadar Raikot, Ludhiana 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation dated 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-7) before respondent No.3, however, no action has been taken thereon till date.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the representation dated 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order, as expeditiously as possible.

It is, however, clarified that this order shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case nor shall it be treated as granting any immunity to the petitioner from any legal action, if otherwise warranted in accordance with law.
