 The principal grievance of the petitioner in this Public Interest Litigation is that the construction being raised in the urban area in the city of Ludhiana has been permitted to be done without leaving open space for parking as required by Chapter-IV of the Punjab Municipal Building Bye-Laws, 2018. The petitioner has raised his grievance in this regard before respondent No.2 vide representation dated 09.10.2024 (Annexure P-8). 2.

The petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order and communicating the same to the petitioner within a period of four weeks.

It is made clear that if violation of any building bye-laws is found as pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner, the same be rectified. 4.

Compliance report be submitted before the Registry within a period of sixty days failing which the matter be taken up again.
