**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 939 dated 26.10.2017 registered at Police Station Model Town, Panipat, under Sections 376 & 506 IPC.
Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody since 26.10.2017 and the FIR was lodged with a delay of three days and challan has been presented. He further contends that the complainant is a married woman and in the FIR, the incident is alleged to have occurred at night whereas it was narrated to the doctors that the incident occurred during day. Counsel also refers to the affidavit sworn in by the complainant Annexure P-4.
Investigation is over. Challan has been presented. Trial will take time.
