State of Punjab and others .............Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Dhawaljeet Datta,Advocate for the petitioners Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for seeking protection to life and liberty of both the petitioners, who are stated to have married against the wishes of parents/relatives (respondents no.4 to 7) of petitioner no.1-wife. They apprehend threat to their life at the hands of said respondents. It is further stated that the couple is residing at H.No.474-A, Near Amrit Model School,Fazilka, Tehsil and District Fazilka,whereas respondents 4 to 7 are residents of Dera Sacha Sauda,Malout Road, Fazilka, Tehsil and District Fazilka.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lata Singh v. State of U.P. And another, JT 2006(6) SC 173, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners to present themselves before SSP, Fazilka, who shall take appropriate RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.09.28 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.
