G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 20.07.2005 (Annexure P-6) passed by respondent no. 1, which upheld the order dated 27.05.1996 (Annexure P-4) and the application of the petitioner for grant of one regular stage carriage permit to operate 4 return trips from Bathinda-Bhadaur via Rampura was declined and was granted in favour of respondents no. 4 and 5.

A perusal of the said order would go on to show that the said permission was for a period of 5 years from the date of the issue of the same. The said period has already expired and, therefore, it is apparent that the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
