Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3, to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioners, at the hands of private respondents No. 4 and 5.

For the cause expressed in the representation dated 01.04.2023 addressed to Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural, i.e. not allowing the harvesting of wheat crops to the petitioners by the private respondents, counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail an alternative remedy available to him, under the law.
