The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a direction to the Family Court, Palwal for time-bound and expeditious disposal of the case bearing HMA No.211 of 2020 titled "Dhiraj vs. Anju".

As per the Dashboard of District Courts Palwal available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid, 1053 cases are pending before the Family Court including 47 cases of 3 to 5 years' old. Further, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 199] has held in para No.37(c) as under :

"37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the disposal of cases pending before any other Courts. Constitutional Courts may issue directions for the timeJITENDER KUMAR 2024.04.19 08:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment Chandigarh

CR No.2255 of 2024 -2- 2024:PHHC:052246 bound disposal of cases only in exceptional circumstances. The issue of prioritizing the disposal of cases should be best left to the decision of the concerned Courts where the cases are pending"

No exceptional ground has been made out in the present case for issuance of directions to dispose off the matter in a time bound manner. The present revision petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
