The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.133 dated 7.7.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 466, 467, 468 and 471 IPC at Police Station Chheharta, District Amritsar.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the FIR in this case has been registered on the application of Ankush Kumar. As per the allegations, the complainant's brother-in-law Parveen Sharma is working in BSF at Sri Nagar and his senior officer, his wife and son live in BSF Camp, Amrtisar. Jaspal Singh, who lives in Naraiangarh and his brother-in-law told that officer is his friend and Jaspal Singh used to get deployed boys in Army and he introduced them with Jaspal Singh. As per the allegations, `2 Lacs had Harpal Singh Parmar 2016.10.22 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-34066 of 2016 [2] been deposited in the account of Jaspal Singh, who had taken this money to get employment in the Army and in this way he has cheated the complainant.

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offences and the fact that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
