Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.211 dated 14.05.2018 under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, registered at Police Station Rai, District Sonepat.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per allegations, from the video of 3.48 minutes, it was found that two Constable namely Dinesh and SPO Sandeep (present petitioners) were taking bribe from truck drivers at newly constructed KMP-KPG highway. A DVD of the video was prepared and was sealed in a parcel. From the video, offence under Section 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, is made out.

CRM No.M-34140 of 2018 -2regarding demanding and taking bribe, I find that present petitioners are required for custodial interrogation. Otherwise also, in view of the serious allegations of corruption, I do not find it a fit case where petitioners are entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
