Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondent No.4.

In compliance of the last order dated 02.07.2020, the learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Prem Chand, has apprised this Court that the statements of the petitioners were recorded wherein petitioner No.1 has specifically stated that she does not apprehend threat from any quarter whatsoever including from her father-respondent No.4.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as such.
