AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no role whatsoever has been attributed to the petitioner in the death of Jaspal Kaur, the entire role being attributed to his brother Chamkaur Singh and the only allegation against the petitioner is that he along with Chamkaur Singh wanted the deceased out of their house, she being the second wife of their late father. On query, learned State counsel submits that out of 19, only 02 witnesses have been examined so far. That being so, the petitioner already having been in custody for more than seven months, if calculated from the custody certificate dated 10.11.2017, showing that he was in custody for five months and two days as on 05.10.2017, I consider it appropriate to admit the petitioner to bail on his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.

Ordered accordingly.

Petition stands allowed.
