Jagbir Singh Ruhil v. Sneh Lata And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CRM-M No. 34191 of 2018 (O&M) Date of decision : 9.8.2018 ...
Jagbir Singh Ruhil ................Petitioner vs.
Sneh Lata and others .................Respondents Coram: Hon'ble Mr. Justice H. S. Madaan Present: Mr. J.P. Jangu, Advocate for the petitioner. ...
H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) The petitioner husband - Jagbir Singh Ruhil seeks transfer of petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C., filed by his wife Sneh Lata and minor children, which is pending in the Court of District Judge, Family Court, Rohtak, to a place outside District Rohtak, on the allegations Sneh Lata is a practicing Advocate at District Court, Rohtak, as such can influence the trial.
I do not find any merit in the allegations on the face of it. An Advocate practicing at a particular place can certainly not interfere in the judicial proceedings and it cannot be taken that she would influence the proceedings pending before District Judge, Family Court, Rohtak. I do not find any reason to allow the petition. Dismissed.
