**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to get detenue Ritu released from the illegal custody of respondents No. 4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with detenue Ritu on 22.6.2020 and they have approached this Court by way of CRWP-4150-2020 seeking protection of their life and liberty but the same was withdrawn on 25.6.2020 as Ritu was taken away by respondents No. 4 to 6.

At this stage, learned State counsel submits that detenue Ritu has joined the company of her husband Satgur Singh (petitioner). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press the petition.
