The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above has come up before this Court under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, [BNSS], seeking regular bail.

Status Report by way of affidavit filed by State counsel is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Paragraph 16 of the bail petition reads as follows: "16.

That except the present case, no other case under the NDPS Act is pending against the present petitioner, although, petitioner is involved in some other criminal cases, the details of the same are not readily available at present." 4.

Faced with the situation, counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file fresh after disclosing all the criminal antecedents. 6.

Given above, the present petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. There is no need to file fresh Power of Attorney and the existing Power of Attorney would suffice. In case, State wants to rely upon status report dated 04.05.2025, they shall be permitted to do so. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
