This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.55 dated 21.03.2024 under Section 379 IPC registered at Police Station Mandi Gobindgarh, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the FIR in question. The allegations against the petitioner are that while working as a physiotherapist, a gold chain belonging to the complainant went missing and it is alleged that the petitioner might have stolen the same. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to join investigation and cooperate with the investigating agency. 3.
This Court, vide order dated 26.03.2025 had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/ Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions Sonia Puri 2025.07.12 16:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel on instructions states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.
In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner has cooperated with the investigation, the order dated 26.03.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.
However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482 BNSS. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
