(ORAL) Present petition was filed with the following substantive prayer:- "It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that this petition may kindly be accepted and the respondents may kindly be life and liberty of the petitioners and their families may kindly be protected at the hands of respondent No.4 and his associates and appropriate action may kindly be taken against the respondent No.4 and his associate as they are threatening the petitioners and their

family members to face dire consequences, in the interest of justice."

Reply by way of affidavit of Mr.Ranbir Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Jhajjar, District Jhajjar, on behalf of respondent No.3, filed in the Court today, is taken on record. Relevant extract of the reply is reproduced below:- "That in compliance with the directions issued by the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) had visited the premises of the brick kiln so as to enquire into the matter. Upon visit, it transpired that the respondent No.4 had sold the brick kiln to one Anil son of Bani Singh r/o Mundakherea, in the month of November 2018. He was associated in the enquiry and he apprised the team that he was not having any concern with any of the petitioners. He further conveyed that he owned nothing to anyone. The respondent No.

4 was also summoned who apprised that he was the owner of the brick kiln during the year 2017-18 and had sold the said brick kiln to Anil aforesaid. He told that there was nothing outstanding qua anyone and he did not owe any money to any person. Accordingly, it was found that none of the petitioners was residing at the brick kiln within the jurisdiction of Police Station, Jhajjar.

as contended had ever been moved by the petitioners at any point to the district police as contended." In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
