Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent to decide the legal notice dated 14.11.2023 (Annexure P-6) and reimburse the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, confines her prayer for deciding legal notice dated 14.11.2023 (Annexure P-6). He submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, if the said legal notice is decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, the respondent is directed to consider and decide the claim made by the petitioner in the legal notice dated 14.11.2023 (Annexure P-6), in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order, within a period of 02 months, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 7.
The petition stands disposed of.
