MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.
The instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents No. 4 and 5.
In compliance of the last order dated 02.07.2020, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Pritpal Singh, submits that the private respondents No. 4 and 5, i.e. father and brother respectively of petitioner No.1, have stated that they have accepted the marriage of the petitioners and would not interfere in their matrimonial life in any manner.
