In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioners is that junior to the petitioners are getting higher pay scale as compared to the petitioners, which act of the respondents is totally arbitrary and illegal, hence, pay of the petitioners need to be step-up equivalent to their juniors namely, Ranbir Singh and Mahabir Singh, who are getting more pay than the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the seniority of the petitioners is above the said employees i.e. Ranbir Singh and Mahabir Singh, hence, the petitioners are entitled for step-up of their pay equivalent to their juniors, namely, Ranbir Singh and Mahabir Singh. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have already raised the said grievance in the representation dated 22.11.2021 (Annexure P-11) but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 4.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Vibha Tewari, AAG, Haryana., who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, the representation dated 22.11.2021 (Annexure P-11) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the claim of the petitioners is found feasible to be accepted, an appropriate order will be passed and in case the same is not found feasible to be accepted, detailed reasons for rejecting the claim of the petitioners will be mentioned in the speaking order.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 8.
Ordered accordingly.
