(ORAL) Contends that the petitioner's bid for the work of Transport Cluster Ludhiana-1 had been accepted whereas that of respondent No.4 had been rejected on account of technical ineligibility vide order dated 04.01.2022. The appeal had been preferred by the private respondent which had been allowed on 11.04.2022 (Annexure P-2) and the technical bid of the said respondent was declared responsive and directions were issued to proceed further as per the provisions of the Policy. In the second appeal filed by the petitioner, matter had been remanded to First Appellate Authority with liberty to modify the impugned order dated 11.04.2022 and it was directed that the same be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks vide order dated 27.04.2022 (Annexure P-3).
It is, thus, prayed that the petitioner be allowed to continue the work which has been allotted to him, being the successful bidder. Meanwhile, a direction has also been prayed for that the First Appellate Authority should decide the matter in a fixed time frame, which has been prescribed by the Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Punjab, Government of Punjab.

Keeping in view the above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the First Appellate Authority to decide the matter expeditiously which had been remanded to it, preferably within a period of ten days from today. Till then, the petitioner be allowed to continue with the work which has already been allotted to him.
