Prayer in this petition is to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in complaint case No.1 dated 22.01.2016, registered under Section 45(1) of the Prevention of Money Laundering, 2002 arising out of case ECIR No.02/JLZO/2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of the said Act of 2002.

Heard learned counsel for the parties Having regard to the age of the petitioner and the fact that he is still a student, we permitted him to appear before the learned Special Court and furnish bail bonds to the satisfaction of that Court, whereupon he was directed to be admitted to interim bail.

CRM-M-34229-2016 (O&M) -2above, the petitioner has furnished the requisite bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge. For the reasons briefly stated above, coupled with the fact that most of the properties appear to have been acquired before the petitioner attained majority, the order dated October 07, 2016 is made absolute. This order shall be without prejudice to any attachment proceedings.
