After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. He, however, prays that a direction be given to expedite the trial keeping in mind the custody period of the petitioner.

However, learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude the same within a period of three months since, as per the instructions received by the learned State counsel, out of 10 prosecution witnesses 9 witnesses already stand examined.
