MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioners, who are stated to be in a live-in relationship, are seeking protection of their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents, who are averse to their relationship. In compliance of order dated 08.05.2024, Inspector Jaswant Singh, has appeared in person. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Inspector Jaswant Singh, who is present in the Court, has submitted that an FIR already stands registered against petitioner No.2 under Section 363 and 366-A of the IPC.

In the circumstances, once petitioner No.2 is an accused in a criminal case, this Court would not be inclined to extend any protection to him.

The instant petition stands dismissed.
