Case is being taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing due to Covid819 pandemic.

Prayer in the petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, is for the initiation of proceedings against the respondents for intentional and willful disobedience of order (Annexure P81) dated 19.02.2021 in CWP No.3908 of 2021. 3.

Learned counsel contends that vide order dated 19.02.2021 in CWP No.3908 of 2021, respondent No.1 was directed to consider the claim of the petitioners in the light of the Haryana Civil Services (Compassionate Financial Assistance or Appointment) Rules, 2019 and decide the same within 04 weeks RAJNEESH SHARMA 2021.07.01 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order but even though certified copy of the order was COCP No.1153 of 2021 supplied on 02.03.2021, no decision was taken on the claim of the petitioners, therefore the instant petition but today the petitioners have been served copy of order dated 14.06.2021, rejecting their claim.

Learned counsel contends that in the circumstances, the petitioners do not wish to pursue the instant petition and the same may be disposed of as such while granting liberty to challenge order dated 14.06.2021 by way of appropriate proceedings, in accordance with law.

In view of the position noted above, there is sufficient compliance with orders dated 19.02.2021 in CWP No.3908 of 2021 on account of passing of order dated 14.06.2021. 6.

Accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of as not calling for any action against the respondents, while granting liberty to the petitioners as prayed for.
