 For the reasons mentioned in the application, delay of 25 days in filing the application for restoration of the petition is allowed.

  

 This is an application for restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 14.02.2023. For the reasons set out in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, the same is allowed. Consequently, the petition is restored to its original number and the same is taken on board for hearing.  !"##  Learned counsel for the parties fairly submit that as the matter in issue is squarely covered by the decision of the Supreme Court in case State of Haryana through Secretary to Government of Haryana vs. Jai Singh and others 2022, SCC Online SC, 418, thus, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is required to be dismissed. In view of the above and in terms of the statement of the learned counsel for the parties, the petition is dismissed.
