Application is allowed and the main case is taken up today itself for hearing.

Main Case Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 23 dated 20.03.2018 under Section 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Jhunir, District Mansa, and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise.

CRM-5758-2021 in/and CRM-M-17440-2019 Vide order dated 22.04.2019, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 30.04.2019 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise. A report dated 16.05.2019 of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sardulgarh, has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sardulgarh and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. Learned Magistrate has stated that she is of the considered view that the compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.

Accoringly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No. 23 dated 20.03.2018 under Section 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Jhunir, District Mansa, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioner.
