FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (ORAL) Allegations against the petitioner Charanjit Singh in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in case FIR No.468 dated 19.12.2014 registered at Police Station City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran under Sections 420/406/120-B IPC are that during the year 2014 he had enticed certain persons, including complainant Avtar Singh on the pretext of getting them employed in the railways department and as a consequence of which had deputed them of ` 5,00,000/-. The sole contention raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is behind bars since 15.01.2015 and that the trial is yet to be concluded.
Though the factual scenario is not disputed by the learned State counsel but has strongly opposed the grant of relief. In the light of submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that the trial will take a long time to conclude, this Ravinder Singh 2017.09.18 11:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Court is of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner in the present
