Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.' for short) seeking quashing of judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 20.1.2015 passed by the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class.

Heard.

Petitioner had faced trial in a complaint filed by the respondent under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 with regard to dishonour of cheque in question. The Trial Court vide judgment/order dated 20.1.2015 ordered the conviction and sentence of the petitioner under Section 138 of the Act. Appeal filed by the petitioner against the judgment/order of his conviction and sentence is pending before the Appellate Court.
