ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) The limited prayer in the present revision petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to the Rent Controller, Jalandhar to decide the Rent Petition bearing No.32 of 2018 expeditiously, which has been pending since February 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that though the issues in the present case were framed as far back as on 18.01.2019, however, the case is not progressing as the respondents are delaying the matter on one pretext or the other.
Heard.
In view of the limited prayer made in the present petition, the revision petition is disposed off with a request to the Rent Controller, Jalandhar to decide the Rent Petition bearing No.32 of 2018 expeditiously and in any case within a period of nine months from the date of passing of YOGESH SHARMA 2022.05.12 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh
