State of Punjab .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.GPS Bal,Advocate for the petitioner Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,DAG Punjab assisted by HC Harbel Singh Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of pre-arrest bail in case FIR No.198 dated 5.8.2007 under Sections 409,341,342,500 IPC and under Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act,PS Division No.5,Ludhiana. It was contended that after completion of investigation, cancellation report was submitted before the learned Illaqa Magistrate in 2008 and the same is pending consideration till now. This court vide order dated 3.9.2013(P-4) had confirmed the interim bail granted to petitioner. Due to non-presence of the petitioner on 15.12.2015 and 12.1.2016, he has been declared a PO.

Vide order dated 8.2.2016 Notice of motion was issued for today and it was directed that in the event of petitioner surrendering RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.02.29 15:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 3441/2016 before the Illaqa Magistrate within ten days,he shall be released on interim bail to its satisfaction.

At the time of hearing today,learned counsel submits that in terms of the order dated 8.2.2016 passed by this Court, petitioner surrendered before the trial court on 15.2.2016 and was released on interim bail, which fact is not disputed by the learned State counsel. In this view of the matter, interim bail granted by trial court on 15.2.2016 pursuant to the order dated 8.2.2016 passed by this Court is confirmed.
