Grewal, J.(Oral) CRM- 15567 -2025 This application has been filed for placing on record the original compromise deed dated 17.03.2025 and the original affidavit of the complainant dated 02.04.2025 as Annexure P-5 and P-6. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and compromise deed dated 17.03.2025 and the original affidavit of the complainant dated 02.04.2025 as Annexure P-5 and P-6 are ordered to be taken on record.

The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short-'BNSS') for quashing of FIR No.228 dated 07.08.2021 under Sections 323, 354-B, 376, 506, 511 of IPC and later on deleted 354-B, 376, 511 of IPC registered at Police Station Furrukhnagar District Gurugram and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 17.03.2025 (Annexure P-3). Ms. Ankita Ahuja, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Learned State counsel states that no other FIR has been registered against the petitioners and they have no known criminal antecedents. 4.

Ms. Jasleen Kaur Chhibber, Advocate appears and filed her Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No.2 in the Court today and the same is taken on record. She confirms the factum of the compromise having been effected between the parties and states that respondent No. 2 has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question.

In that view of the matter, even if this case is taken to its logical conclusion, it would only be an exercise in futility as the parties have already settled their differences. Therefore, no purpose would be served in wasting the time and resources of the State in pursuing this case to its pre-ordained end. It would, therefore, be better to give a quietus to the issue at this stage. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 228 dated 07.08.2021 under Sections 323, 354-B, 376, 506, 511 of IPC and later on deleted 354-B, 376, 511 of IPC registered at Police Station Furrukhnagar District Gurugram and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 17.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) shall stand quashed qua the petitioner.
