The limited prayer in the present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is for expeditious disposal of the rent petition pending before the Rent Controller, Amritsar since July, 2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that since July, 2017, the ejectment petition filed by the petitioner on the ground of personal necessity is pending and the progress in the matter is very slow. In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed off with a request to the Rent Controller, Amritsar to expedite the hearing of the matter and dispose off the same, in accordance PARKASH CHAND 2022.05.16 12:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
