Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.46 dated 24.03.2017 under Sections 376(2)(N)/120B/109 IPC and Section 67/67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, registered at police Station Samana, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Harminder Singh, informs that the petitioner, who has joined investigation pursuant to interim order dated 22.09.2017 passed by this Court, has been found innocent during investigation and is not being proceeded against. In this view of the matter, but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Consequently, order dated 22.09.2017 is made absolute.
