(Oral) This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent No 4 to 5. Learned State counsel on instructions from Head Constable Gumtehal Singh has informed the Court that statement of petitioners have been recorded to the effect that they do no require any protection and are living happily. They have also given their affidavits (in Punjabi) to this effect.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
