Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for protection of his life and liberty and has not pressed the petition regarding the other pleas taken by the petitioner in the petition and representation (Annexure P-4).

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.4-Superintendent of Police, Panipat to look into the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to threat to life and liberty of petitioner, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated or pending against him in accordance with law.
