Main Case 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner should have been given 5 marks under the Socio Economic Criteria for no family member in govt. job while competing for the Group-D post in pursuance to the advertisement No. 4/2018 dated 26.08.2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondents have evolved various criteria which are contrary to each other for the grant of marks under the Social Economic Criteria which is causing prejudice to the petitioner and the prayer of the petitioner in the present petition is that the petitioner should have also been granted 5

CWP-7816-2023 (O&M) -22023:PHHC:124517 marks under the Socio Economic Criteria for no family member in Govt. job and then only her eligibility should have been ascertained for further selection process.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the grievance raised in the present petition has already been raised in the representation dated 10.02.2023, copy of which has been appended as Anneuxre P-11 and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is given to the respondent by this Court by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Mr. Pankaj Middha, Addl. AG, Haryana accepts notice and submits that in case, representation (Annexure P-11) dated 10.02.2023 has been received in the office of the concerned authority and the same is still pending consideration, appropriate order will be passed within a period of 8 weeks of the receipt of the copy of this order. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
