(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.117 dated 20.07.2014 registered under Sections 382, 473, 201 and 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
Pursuant to order dated 18.05.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jagraon, to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jagraon, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.384 dated 07.07.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, vide letter No.568/EC dated 10.07.2018. According to the report, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jagraon, is satisfied that parties have entered into compromise at Ravinder Singh 2018.08.08 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document their own will and without any coercion or pressure from any corner and the same is genuine.
-2CRM-M-34639 of 2016 (O&M) Considering the report of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jagraon, and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.117 dated 20.07.2014 registered under Sections 382, 473, 201 and 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, is hereby quashed, subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,000/-, out of which Rs.6,000/- shall be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority and Rs.4,000/- with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
List on 31.8.2018 for production of receipt with regard to deposit of aforesaid costs.
