(Oral) Petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as she apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.2 and 3 who allegedly have forcibly dispossessed the petitioner from her house and a civil suit in respect of which is stated to be pending between the parties. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, to get the representation dated 03.11.2022 (Annexure P-2) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon.
