Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order No.217 dated 29.05.2023 (Annexure P-2), order No.324 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-4), order No.323 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-6) and order No.325 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-8). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents to refund the amount deducted from the pension of the petitioner in compliance to impugned order No.217 dated 29.05.2023 (Annexure P-2), order No.324 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-4), order No.323 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-6) and order No.325 dated 09.09.2022 (Annexure P-8), along with interest @ 18% per annum.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to MOHD YAKUB 2026.03.23 14:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Mr. Rohan Sachdev, Advocate, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that he has no objection, in case a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to hear and decide the statutory appeal dated 06.02.2024 as well as the representations (Annexure P-9), filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, without commenting upon merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of and the respondent No.1 is directed to hear and decide the statutory appeal dated 06.02.2024 as well as the representations (Annexure P-9), filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner and pass a speaking order, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
