Petitioner-Committee through its President is seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the DDPO-respondent no.2 and BDPOSamana,Distt.Patiala-respondent no.3 to take legal action against illegal occupants of the shamlat land measuring 309 acres and to conduct auction of the same as per Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation)Act,1961. Further prayer is to direct respondent no.2 to lease out 1/3 share of such shamlat land to Scheduled Caste families.

A perusal of the paperbook reveals that earlier on two occasions petitioner-Committee had already approached this Court by way of CWP 8713/2011,decided on 9.5.2012 and CWP 20670/2017,decided on 12.9.2017 for similar relief and in both these petitions appropriate directions have already been issued to the authorities concerned regarding similar prayer, which is made for the third time in the present writ petition.
