Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 86 dated 12.09.2018, registered under Section 336 IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Anaj Mandi, Patiala, District Patiala. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that he does not press the prayer for quashing of the FIR, at this stage, but his only grievance is to the point that despite registration of FIR in September, 2018, investigation has not been completed and final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has not been presented in the Court. As such, present petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondent-State to complete the investigation expeditiously and submit the challan in the Court.
